Town Committee is proud to announce that it has endorsed the re-election of First Selectman Patricia Del Monaco and Selectman Khristine Hall in the November 2021 local elections.  Pat Del Monaco and Khris Hall have both been the leaders New Fairfield needed in our moments of crisis and the leaders we’ve wanted for their forward thinking and vision.  The team of Del Monaco Hall will provide the leadership and expertise to continue to move New Fairfield forward.

“Pat Del Monaco has led New Fairfield through tumultuous storms and the COVID pandemic while providing responsible budgets, quality services, and beginning the work of strengthening our town infrastructure.  Pat’s focus on improving town docks, roads and bridges, together with her support for constructing two new schools will make New Fairfield a 21st century community for people to live, work, and play,” said Josh Beckett Flores, Chair of the Democratic Town Committee.  “Her advocacy with other communities to hold EverSource accountable in the Public Utilities Regulatory Agency (PURA) has led to accountability and improved performance by the utility,” he added.

“Selectman Khris Hall’s work and leadership has improved the quality of life for every New Fairfield resident. She’s been an advocate and leader on the Margerie Reservoir trail and established and managed the volunteer driven New Fairfield/Sherman Vaccination Clinic during the COVID pandemic,” said Beckett Flores.  “We are proud of everything Pat and Khris have accomplished and look forward to their continued leadership.”

“I am grateful I have been given the opportunity, along with Khris Hall, to continue to serve New Fairfield for another two years,” said Pat Del Monaco, New Fairfield First Selectman.  “We’ve accomplished much in the last four years and the coming two years will present a number of challenges.  As we have in the past, we will focus on keeping New Fairfield residents safe, responding concerns and requests, and responsibly managing town government during tough times.”

“Pat and I have been able to accomplish so much because of the cooperation and support of other Town Boards, especially the Board of Education and the Board of Finance,” said Khris Hall, New Fairfield Selectman.    “We’ve been able to work together in a bipartisan way to serve the residents of New Fairfield.  We hope New Fairfielders recognize the importance of continuing to be able to work across party lines to keep New Fairfield moving forward.”

Ms. Del Monaco and Ms. Hall will run together as Del Monaco Hall for New Fairfield.  “The Democratic Town Committee enthusiastically support the re-election of Pat Del Monaco and Khris Hall,” said Josh Beckett-Flores, Chair of the New Fairfield Democratic Town Committee.
